Jessica Wallace MPH, PA-C
Education Coordinator Lab Assistant Jessica Wallace, MPH, PA-C, CYT-C, an upcoming graduate with the 2008 PYTS CYT class, is a graduate of George Washington University with a dual degree in Master of Public Health and Master of Physician Assistant, and a yoga therapist with a special interest in karma yoga. Her love of yoga began with the decade as she began to fuse her background of movement and dance with yoga. That interest quickly led to therapeutic approaches to yoga as she began to fully recognize and implement its multi-faceted transformative potential. Jessica serves as PYTS' Education Consultant and as an assistant faculty member. In addition, Jessica is an avid proponent of evidence-based yoga therapy, the basis for PYTS, and is a full-time Physician Assistant to underserved populations in Washington DC. Jessica specializes in teaching Spanish language Yoga to Latino populations as part of her practice's comprehensive family obesity prevention program. Jessica is encouraged by the immense potential that 'teaching mindful movement' through PYT has as an alternative and adjunct to conventional medical practice. She lives with her husband and two dogs in Washington DC. |
